Labor Day Camping Trip

We went camping again this past weekend for the holiday weekend with family that came up from Utah. We had a great time fishing and playing games. Dallin really loved being inside the tent and bouncing on the air mattress. We camped right on the river and our tent was literally just a few feet away from the water. It was a fun way to spend time before Scott starts his last semester this week.

First Video Post

I thought I would let everyone know we are still doing great just not a whole lot to say. The summer is winding down and school will be starting for Scott soon. He has been working A LOT during his school break so we only see him in the evenings just before Dallin's bedtime. We try and do something fun on the weekends.

Dallin has two top teeth now, and has been sick for the last couple of days on top of teething. I hope the worst is behind us now. I have to say Scott has been super Daddy at night helping with Dallin so I can sleep. Our ltttle man will be turning one this month, and I am super excited to plan his birthday party!

Dallin loves the park and has a new love of swinging. Hope you enjoy this video!

Catch up

I totally missed that last few weeks of July, so I will do a little update for everyone. We really aren't as boring as you may think. A few weeks ago we got to have dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Smith. They stopped in Rexburg to see Dallin on their way to Minnesota. Uncle Brian and Aunt Caitlyn came to stay a few days and to play. We played tennis, went swimming, and checked out the local farmer's market.
Then we were off to Mountain Home, Idaho for my old roommate, Tiffany's wedding reception. We got to stop in Twin Falls on the way to see another old roommate, Nikki and meet her little daughter Chloe for the first time. It was a quick trip and it was great to see everyone!
This past weekend we took Dallin to the splash park here and town and he loved it. Anything to do with water and Dallin is there. Scott also took him for a ride on the carousel at the park. We are enjoying our summer, and Scott is grateful to have a break from school before he starts his last semester in the fall.

Weekend fun in Utah!

I am going to apologize now for the lack of pictures. We did take our camera with us to Utah, but didn't use it once. We went to visit family this past weekend. We had family travel in from Oregon and Oklahoma. It was most of their first time seeing Dallin and it was great to see most of Scott's family.

We went swimming, had a BBQ, played games and were able to have lunch with my old roommate Tiffany who is getting married this month. We were also able to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It reminds me a lot of the Rexburg temple from the outside. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!!

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We had a fun filled day of activities on Sturday. We took Dallin to the parade in the morning. Then we went home for a nap and then some fun swimming in the backyard.

Then we went to the nature park for a BBQ. Dallin had fun being outside playing and waiting for the fireworks to start that night. This is his favorite pose for the camera.

It was a little chilly when the sun went down, but we kept him bundled up more to keep the mosquitos away then to keep him warm. He loved watching the fireworks and fell asleep right after they were over. We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!!

9 Month Stats

Dallin went to the doctor today so I thought I would update you on how well he is growing.

Weight: 17.4 lbs (7th percentile)

Height: 29 1/4 inches (80th percentile)

He has gained 2 pounds and grown 2 inches. And from the numbers you can tell he is still tall and skinny and growing like a weed. Here is a picture just for fun!
