6 Months Old!!

We can't believe Dallin is already 6 months old. He is growing so fast. These are not the best pictures, but I snapped these after his bath to show you how curly his hair is. It is getting longer now and it is easier to see. Everyone just loves his curly hair.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT!!

Scott's birthday was on Saturday the 21st. I knew we were going to be in Logan, UT that weekend visiting family, so I decided to throw a party for Scott a few days early. We invited about 20 friends over and had cake and ice cream. Thanks everyone for coming and wishing Scott a happy birthday!!

The weekend was great too because we were able to see Scott's brother Dan and his wife Kellee and their kids Hunter and Ryen. Scott's younger brother Brian and his wife Caitlyn came up from Provo as well. Even though Kellee was SUPER busy she still made Scott his favorite food....LASAGNA! It was great to see everyone and thanks for sharing his birthday with us!!

Rice Cereal and New Toy!!

We started Dallin on rice cereal last week. He really likes it a lot, and the first feeding went very well.

Dallin really loves his new toy. When you become parents this is how you spend your birthday money....on your baby. We thought it worked out great because Dallin's 6 month birthday happens to be right between both of our birthdays. Dallin absolutely loves it because it plays music and he can bounce up and down in it too!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I hope you all remembered to wear green today!! Scott forgot so I got to pinch him. :) He didn't learn his lesson because he still didn't put on anything green, so I continued to pinch him. Ok not continually just a total of 3 the whole day. He got me back when I put on my purple pajamas, so I guess we're even.

Fun Date Night!!

Our most recent posts have been all about Dallin which is just fine by us, but we thought we would share with you our fun outing we had on Friday night. It was Scott's turn to plan date night, and he decided to take us to B.J.'s Bayou. It's a small restaurant in Roberts, Idaho that a friend told us about. Just as the name suggests it looked like someone had uprooted a tiny piece of Louisianna and dropped it in the middle of Idaho. It's a 110 year old hotel that they renovated, and it looked just like in the old movies with the restaurant and bar on the main floor and the rooms on the second floor. The inside was decorated for Mardi Gras with the traditional purple, green, and yellow colors.
The food was real cajun cookin'. We got to try some new things like crawfish, alligator tail, and gumbo. The food was very yummy, and we enjoyed ourselves very much!! The coolest part was the live alligators they had. They had a special room that was kept at about 70 degrees with a pool of water for them. It was like we took a quick trip and for once it didn't feel like we were in Idaho.
