Definitely a Smith!!

Dallin was playing on the floor while I went to get an outfit to put on him today and when I came back he had started taking off his diaper. So, I know its a normal thing for babies to learn to take off their diapers and even clothes sometimes, but I didn't know Dallin would figure it out this fast (8 months). Maybe it is normal, and I think its so funny because he's our first baby.

Camping Trip

We went camping this past weekend and had a lot of fun. Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Uncle Brian and Aunt Caitlyn, and Uncle Chad and Lara all came up from Utah to camp with us. We camped right on the Snake River about 20 miles south of Rexburg. Dallin loved being outside and for his first camping trip did really well.

Random

I've totally been neglecting our blog this month compared to April. Sorry about that. Here are some cute pictures that we have taken lately. Dallin has never really sucked on his thumb until recently. I think he likes to feel his teeth on his bottom gums.

He doesn't crawl yet, but he sure does know how to get himself stuck by pushing himself backwards. He'll be crawling soon though. He's been getting on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth for awhile now.

He's eating a graham cracker here.

I just thought this picture was awesome. He does this all the time but he does it so fast, it's hard to snap a good picture.

Hair Cut...More Like a Trim Instead

Dallin's hair is getting long because he hasn't lost any since he was born. Everyone loves his curly hair, and I can't bring myself to cut it that short. So we trimmed it because it was growing over his ears and down his neck.

It's not the best job, but Dallin started to get antsy so Momma had to be done with the haircut.

We would like to give a special thanks to our great friend Kyla for taking these pictures and for her husband Jordan for keeping Dallin entertained. These were taken before everything started blooming, so we did the best we could with the Idaho landscape. We sure do miss you guys!!
