Early Christmas

We celebrated Christmas early at our home in Rexburg because we are headed to Arkansas this week to visit Aimee's family, and we already celebrated with Scott's family in Utah last weekend. We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas....

We woke up to our first snow accumulation in Rexburg this morning. Just a couple of inches, but at least it feels more like December now. We also finished decorating our apartment for the holidays and thought you would enjoy a few snapshots of that.

Growing Up So Fast

Here is our little Dallin right now as Mommy is blogging on the computer. He likes taking naps and you can see he likes doing laundry with mom too. The last one is a picture of him on Thanksgiving Day!! In one month he has gained over 2 lbs and is 1 1/2 inches taller. He now weighs 10 lbs 12 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long.

8 Weeks Old

Dallin is 8 weeks old now!! He is awake a lot more now during the days and he is holding his head up really well. He is such a happy baby and loves to just jabber all the time. He is so fun!! Here is our cute little boy!

Halloween 2008!!

We did a few things this year to celebrate Halloween!! We decorated sugar cookies and shared them with several of our friends. Then we carved pumpkins and went to a straw maze with our friends Jordan and Kyla. That was a lot of fun!! Scott is excited for next year when Dallin will be older and we can take him trick or treating!

Everyone asks for more pictures of Dallin, so here are some random ones we have taken over the past 2 weeks. He is just over a month old and growing everyday. Just to keep you updated he now weighs 9 lbs. 8 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long.

Family Pictures

I wanted some family pictures of us while Dallin was still little, so I had my good friend Michaela snap some for us. She took us to this cute little nature park where she had taken some pictures previously. Dallin is just a month old and decided to sleep through pretty much all of them, but he still looks adorable!! Thanks again Michaela!!

2 Weeks Old

I can't believe Dallin is already a few weeks old. Time sure does go by so fast when you have a little one. Just a reminder he was 7 lbs 15 ounces and 21 inches long when he was born. His current stats are 8 lbs 12 ounces and 22 inches long. I know I'm the mom, but I think he gets cuter and cuter each day!! Enjoy the pictures!!

Dallin Scott Smith

We are ecstatic to let everyone know that we had our baby on September 27th at 9:50 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. We went to the hospital at 7:30 Saturday morning to induce and he was born later that evening. He wasn't sure he wanted to come but with a little help from the doctor I was able to deliver him naturally. Here are some pictures of our adorable baby boy!! Welcome Back Friends!!!

Our good friends Kyla and Jordan have been gone all summer working in Pennsylvania. They just arrived back in Rexburg for school last week, so we decided to have them over for dinner on Friday night. Scott has been wanting to use the turkey fryer we bought last year, and we thought this would be fun to do with our friends. Here is how it turned out.

For dessert we roasted marshmallows and had smores using our fire pit. Good times and lots of laughs!! Welcome Back!! We sure did miss you guys.
