Silly Boy

Let's play a little game. Instead of Where's Waldo?..."Where's Dallin?" As you can tell Dallin was playing in the coat closet, and you can see only part of his leg in this picture. Do you see him?

Here is more of him revealed if you didn't find him in the first picture.

There he is...you found him!!

Dallin is such a silly boy. He was very amused by playing hide and seek behind the coats, and he thought it was funny because the static made his hair stand up.

15 Months

Dallin had a great check up at the doctor today. Here are his new stats so you can see how well he is growing:
Weight: 20.7 lbs (5th percentile)
Heaight: 32.5 inches (80th percentile)

That means he has gained 2 lbs and 2 inches since his last visit at 12 months. He also just cut through 2 molars on his bottom gums. He is walking all over the place and is doing well with a few words of sign language that we have taught him. It seems like he eats ALL day long and is just a happy, healthy baby.

Happy New Year!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2010!! In this past year we were able to celebrate Dallin's first birthday and him beginning to walk which is very exciting in your child's early years. In the warmer months we had a couple fun camping trips with our family in Utah. Mema and Papa were able to make some trips from Arkansas which was wonderful since we weren't able to visit them. And we are of course very blessed for Scott's new job that he started.
We are excited to see what 2010 will bring our way in the coming year. We know Scott will be graduating in April. With graduation that brings the possibility of a move and new job as well. Just found out that Dallin is going to have a new cousin, and we will be welcoming a new niece or nephew to the family. We are also planning a trip to Arkansas to see all of Aimee's family hopefully early in the summer and many more exciting events we will be able to share with you.
We wish everyone the best in 2010!

Christmas Break

It feels like we have been celebrating Christmas all week. I have been baking yummy treats and taking Dallin outside to play in the snow. He loves being outside especially in the cold, wet, white stuff that I'm sure he doesn't know is snow yet. I think Dallin will grow up loving the snow just like his Daddy.

On Christmas Eve we spent it playing games when Scott got home from work. Then we all opened our Christmas pajamas and we let Dallin open one small gift that was in his stocking.

Then on Christmas day we opened presents after breakfast. Dallin wanted to play with each one after he opened it so it took awhile, but it was fun watching his face light up when he saw all of his new toys. Thanks to all of our family who shipped our gifts to us. Then before lunch and nap time we took Dallin sledding. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!

Momma's Scarf

Dallin is full of surprises now. I find him in boxes, climbing on shelves, hiding things in the Christmas tree, and today he came walking down the hall wearing my scarf. He is trying too hard to smile in these pictures and that is why his eyes are closed. These are the moments that make being a mom so fun. I love Dallin so much and glad he can put a smile on my face.

Getting Ready for Christmas

We are definitely getting in the holiday spirit. Our tree and stockings are up along with the rest of our decorations. And there is plenty of snow outside to make it feel like Christmas. One of my favorite parts of the holidays is the food, so I am already planning our yummy menu. I'm trying to keep it small because it will just be us this year.
Scott just started a new job on Monday so we won't be traveling for Christmas. He also has a teachers' assistant job on campus for next semester that he is looking forward to. We are so grateful for all of our blessings especially this time of year!!

Dallin was helping us with the lights and Scott thought it was more fun to put them on Dallin than on the tree.
